Amusement because of their (arguably) mishandling of the technical and customer service aspects of the problem, and trepidation because we know we're not immune to the specter of billing screw-ups. It's a good wake-up call to all service-based companies: the very most basic level of support a customer expects is accuracy. Screw that up and you're sunk.
