I'm proud of you for recognizing that you have limitations. Yes, we all expect you to be Superman, but it's just not realistic. You're so much more than our Technology Director which, in reality, is at least number 3 or lower on your list. Husband and father MUST come first. Those are the responsibilities that have lasting significance. In 20 years will it matter that we changed our website or that you spent time with Paige and Matthew? You're good at what you do...no doubt about that...but we (myself included) have become too dependent on you. Delegation and prioritizing are hard, but those are the best things you can do for your family and for your health. "No" is not a dirty word!!

I also had to learn to say no years ago. When I was single, I gave everything to work- doing it all myself and never saying no to a project. After I got married, I had to shift some priorities. It wouldn't be fair to Ben make him second place. But,having Jackson was the BIG turning point for me. I have learned to say no to things that take time away from my family. If it can't do it during my contract time, somebody else has to do it or something else has to go to make time for the project. I know that when Jackson is 18 he won't say "Mom cared more about school than me." I think I am much happier at home and work now.
